Connection Heals
Background
I’ve been working as a psychologist in different cities in the Netherlands with locals, expats staying here temporarily, people with a migration background, and asylumseekers. I’ve treated individuals with the most common mental issues, whether these were related to past experiences (life events, or long-term challenges in their upbringing), or current problems related to work, relationships, difficult emotions, or their self-image.
Born and raised in Hungary, I’ve lived six years in the United Kingdom before I settled in the Netherlands over 7 years ago.
I’ve always enjoyed taking the cross-cultural aspects into account when needed in my therapies, as well as the context somebody lives and grew up in.
I find it important to have an equal relationship with my clients - I might be trained in psychology, but you are the expert of your own experience. This way I hope to be able to help each other in finding the right questions and answers together.
